Are you a local/indie scifi, fantasy, or related genre** author?
We’re looking for your books!
We are a small scifi/fantasy/fandom book shop located in Historic Downtown Glendale, AZ and we love to work with local authors!
We are actively looking for authors who want to work directly with us.
**In related genres and one we get requested a lot: horror, magical realism, fandom, literary analysis of carried genres, fandom drink & cookbooks, books on writing, witchy/occult/spirituality, and the most requested – poetry! And don’t forget romance that also fits these genres!
How our system works:
-
We work on a delayed consignment model – meaning you get paid when your books sell.
-
We do not have any shelf, stocking, administration or other fees.
-
We pay approximately 50% of your list price.
The details:
-
When determining your wholesale price AKA 50% of the list price, please make sure that it covers your expenses and profit.
-
We absorb the costs of any discounts, sales, promotions, etc. So you always get paid the same wholesale amount.
-
We set the final price for the book in the store.
-
We pay out once a month by the 10th for the previous month’s sales.
-
We offer the option to be paid by check, cash, Venmo, Cashapp, Zelle, and store credit.
-
We charge and pay sales tax. You are responsible for all personal taxes.
